Question: What is the difference in Wendy’s pancake regular hood and
mini hood?
Answer: The regular style has a 10 ½” face piece and a
7” x 6 ½” side piece. The mini has a 10” face piece and a 6” X 6 ½”
side piece.
Question: What is the difference in
a right handed hood and a left handed hood?
Answer: The right handed hood has the side piece on the left side (for
right handed welders). The left handed hood has the side piece on right side
(for left handed welders)
Question: What is the difference in the boxes on the Wendy’s hoods?
Answer: Three different box sizes
to choose from: Regular: has a pocket
depth of 3/8”. Chita: has a pocket depth of 5/8”. Auto: has a pocket depth of
7/8”
Question: How do I know which box
to order?
Answer: Stack all of the lenses you will be using in
the hood together and measure the overall thickness of the stacked lenses.
Question: Can the regular and mini
hoods be converted to a flip up hood?
Answer: Yes, we sell the flip up
assembly that you can attach to your hood to make it a flip up style hood.
